Frame materials
- Frames are made from solid timber.
- The natural moulding has a natural oak veneer on top of the timber frame.
- Standard finishes include white, black and natural. Other finishes are available on request.
Glass
- All frames are fitted with standard float glass.
- Optional – Art Glass: There is an option to upgrade to Art Glass upon request for an additional charge. Art Glass is anti-reflective, blocks out harmful UV rays. Please contact me directly to request this.
Mat board options
Framed prints include a mat board.
- White matte with a white core.
- A4 = (2cm matte border, with 3mm overlapping the print all round)
- A3 = (3cm matte border, with 3mm overlapping the print all round)
- A2 = (5cm matte border, with 3mm overlapping the print all round)
- A1 = (5cm matte border, with 3mm overlapping the print all round)
Frame specifications
The specifications for our medium frames, which is the option available on this website, are:
- Frame depth: 20mm
- Frame width: 30mm (the frame overlaps the matt by 7mm all the way around)
- Glass front
- Strung and ready to hang. You will need to arrange your own hooks for the wall. If you would like assistance hanging your print please contact me.
Sizes
Approximate framed print finished sizes (including frame):
- A4 = 347mm x 260mm
- A3 = 470mm x 347mm
- A2 = 644mm x 470mm
- A1 = 891mm x 644mm
Custom frames

- Custom frame sizes and colours are available on request.
- Quotes and mock-ups can be provided if needed. Please contact me directly.
Production and shipping
Frames are custom-made by an Auckland-based supplier, made to a high standard to protect and preserve each print for years to come.
Framed prints are packed and shipped within 1–2 weeks.
