Caring For Your Art

Each piece is made to last — whether you’ve chosen an original painting or a fine art print, you’re investing in high-quality artwork designed to bring lasting enjoyment. While the materials are archival and professionally produced, a few simple steps can help keep your artwork looking its best over time.

Originals

Each original is painted with professional-grade acrylics and sealed with a protective varnish. Even so, it’s important to treat it with care.

  • Keep the art out of direct sunlight. UV rays can fade colours over time, even with a protective varnish.
  • Avoid damp areas. Kitchens and bathrooms can cause moisture damage over time.
  • Dust gently. Use a soft, dry brush or lint-free cloth. Don’t use water or cleaning sprays.
  • Handle with care. Always use clean, dry hands or gloves when moving the artwork.
  • Framing is optional. If your piece isn’t already framed, professional framing can add an extra layer of protection — especially if you want to include UV-protective glass.

Fine art prints

  • The prints are professionally produced on archival paper using high-quality inks, made to last. But like any artwork, they’ll last longest with the right care.
  • Frame your print. UV-protective glass or acrylic is best, especially for brighter rooms.
  • Display with care. Keep away from direct sunlight and high-humidity areas.
  • Clean the frame gently. Wipe with a soft cloth. Don’t spray cleaner directly on the glass — spray the cloth first.

If your print arrives unframed

  • A4, A3 and A2 size prints are sent out in a flat cardboard double-sided envelope.
  • If your print arrives rolled up in a tube (usually A1 size), unroll with care and let it relax before handling or framing.
  • Store flat. If you’re not ready to frame it, store in a cool, dry place between acid-free sheets.
  • Avoid pressure or stacking. Prints can be easily marked or bent if stored incorrectly.
